In a post a few weeks ago I wrote about my favourite brands that I buy and where I buy them from. Nearly all of them are very well known brands that I’m sure all of you have heard of!
This post is going to be about the less known brands that I love and want to share with you lovelies! Some of these do have a following and you guys have have heard of a few of them, but are not as well known as say Queen of Darkness or Killstar! So, I thought I would just do a little post just to share the love and hopefully shed some light on these beautiful companies!
This will be a list of my top ten and not in any particular order.
The Crypt of Curiosities
I don’t quite remember how it was that I found this one.
But, I am so glad that I did!
The jewellery that this lovely lady does is just beautiful!
This shop is a UK based Esty store that sells elegant gothic pieces of jewellery. The styles include necklaces, chokers, earrings and bracelets!
There is also this special section called Black No.1 Collection, that are just to die for!
I own a few different pieces from The Crypt of Curiosities and each of them go so well with all my clothes and different pieces of jewellery!
What I do also love about this store is, it is not that expensive! So, I don’t feel guilty when I go and buy like 3 things in one go!
I highly recommend this lovely ladies designs!

Hybrid Hair Dreads
This store is a UK based synthetic dreadmaker and she does some of the most beautiful work!
For the last few months I have been searching the internet for someone to make me some new synthetic dreads, because the other ones I had were just terrible!! I found a few dreadmakers that have some amazing work, but they were either very expensive or their work wasn’t exactly what I looking for.
That was until I saw Hybrid Hair’s set history.
Her portfolio is just so mesmerizing!
I saw a set that she had made a few months ago and it was the exact style I was looking for!
I sent her a message via Facebook just enquiring if she was available and if it was possible for her make a set for me using a previous set as inspiration and she said “Yes!”. We discussed the length, colours and the right shade of the different colours and of course price! It took a couple of weeks to get them, just because there were other orders and it does take time for synthetic dreads to be made…but eventually they were done!
The result was better than I could have pictured!
During the process, Hybrid Hair messaged me with updates on every aspect and totally put me at ease with the process. There wasn’t a point where I was worried that they would look bad or they wouldn’t be done, she was just an absolute star throughout the whole process and I cannot wait to have them installed so that I can show them off to everyone!
If you’re interested in getting some synthetic dreads, it is always best to find someone that has the style that you’re looking for and I would suggest looking a lot of different dreadmakers before making your decision. But, I do suggest checking out Hybrid Hair!

Black Craft
This is an American based clothing brand that I found on Instagram. This is an alternative clothing brand that sell some of the best t-shirts!
I don’t remember how I found them, but I am so glad that I follow them! I want to own all the designs that they produce!
I especially love the “Lucipurr” vest!
They have many other designs that are just spectactular! And as you can tell from their name are very much related to the occult aspect and are the best sort of t-shirt to wear when making friends!
I, unfortunately, don’t have anything from these guys just yet! But, come payday I will be hunting through their website for ALL THE THINGS!

Hollowgrave Clothing
This another American based company that I managed to find on Instagram.
Their designs are mainly black and white, which is exactly why I love their stuff. But there
are the odd bit of purple thrown in there and a there is a top that is mainly red. But I am mostly in love with the black tops that they have.
Now, I have a big love for tops that have designs on both sides. It’s a big reason I love wearing band tour shirts. Hollowgrave have this on a lot of their tops! Take their “Worship No One” top for example; it has a huge satanic cross on the back and on the front just the shop’s logo.
There are obviously loads of designs on there website, but I just love the design on this one! So, when I am able to I will be ordering this top from them!

Rat Baby
I found this brand after they liked a picture I posted on instagram.
They’re another alternative clothing brand that do some beautiful pieces as well. These guys are a little more tame (that’s the best word to describe it) than Black Craft and Hollowgrave. But their items are still pretty badass! Especially their coffee cups, which I may have to buy for a friend of mine!
A lot of their clothing have some pretty decent designs and hopefully in the not too distant future I will be able to own something!

Belial Clothing Co
This store was one of the first small companies I started following on Instagram after I saw some of their posted in “suggested” part. They’re an Costa Rica based company that sells alternative clothing.
What I do like about this store (especially at the moment), is the fact that they only sell t-shirts with their designs on them. I love wearing t-shirts (that sounds really weird), I just find them more comfy than vest or jumpers, especially when they’re 2-3 sizes too big!
Again, I unfortunately don’t own anything from these guys, but I feel like I need to own the “Magic Ball” shirt!

Lunalight Jewellery
This one is for those who live on the lighter side of life! This is a UK based store and as you may have guessed from the title a jewellery store!
This store does all the different types of jewellery, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings etc. all in different types of metal.
I don’t normally like this style of jewellery. I normally go for the gothic, darker, spookier, statement style of jewellery…but I love all the beautiful little pieces that this store has to offer!
I do recommend just taking a look at the magical pieces that are in this store!

Mysticum Luna
I don’t know how I found this one. But I am so glad that I did! I am in love with all the rings that this store sell, as well as all the other items that are on their site!
They sell lots of different styles of jewellery as well as gothic candles and a few other accessories that every goth needs in the life!
I’m really digging the Triquetra Gemston ring and the Pentagram Ram head ring and as soon as I figure out how to measure my finger for rings, I will buying one or both of those rings!

The Pumpkin Coven
I love this store.
I want everything from the store.
I just love the style of all the pieces. From the large statement rings to the large occult earrings, I just love the look and style of them!
I have just recently ordered the “Ankh Coffin Necklace” and the “Ouija Planchette Ring” and I am so excite to have them on myself!

Curiology
I have no words for this glorious company!
I want to own everything from this store, the rings and earrings, the necklaces and the hairclips! I have a major love for necklaces that have something spooky written in an interesting font and Curiology has several necklaces that have this!
I found this store when a friend of mine shared a picture of their jewellery and I just had to
check it out! I have just recently ordered the “Witch Necklace” and “Black Ankh Necklaces” and I cannot wait for them to arrive!
I already am wanting to throw more money at this store and buy so many more pieces!

So, that is my top ten list of favourite small brands! I am so glad that I managed to find them because soon I will be able to own ALL THE PRETTY THINGS. Hopefully, you guys will go and check some of them out and they’ll become some of your favourite stores as well!
